Customizing overviews of Workflow and Requests

Menu path

On the left menu, click  My workflow or  My requests and then click Customize

At the menu path, based on the function that you want to customize, do one of the following:

  • To customize the automatic refresh setting, click  Customize.
  • To customize the display unit of the average time a request has been in the workflow, set the Involvement type to Workflow and click  Customize.
  • To customize the Criteria section and the columns for each Involvement type, set the Involvement to the desired type. If the Workflow or Requests overviews are not set to refresh automatically, click Refresh. Then, click  Customize.

Introduction

The Workflow: Customize page allows you to customize the Workflow and Requests overviews. You can customize the Criteria and results section of the Workflow or Requests overviews for each Involvement type. However, the customization excludes the Person, Involvement, and Show criteria. For more information, see Overview of Workflow and Requests.

You may see different options available in all sections of the customization page. The options you have selected in the Selection criteria and Columns sections are saved differently for each of the Involvement type. The only setting that is shared across all Involvement types is the Refresh: Automatically option under the Properties section.

Roles and rights

All users can customize their Requests and Workflow overviews.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 262 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I customize the overviews of Workflow and Requests?

  1. On the Workflow or Requests page, select the required type of involvement at Involvement under the Criteria section.
  2. On the Workflow: Customize page, define the fields, properties, and columns.
  3. Click Save, and then Close to exit.
